Welcome!  We will soon have a new look at ArtXpectations ™

ArtXpectations is very excited to announce that changes to our Internet site are soon to be a reality! Our family of talented artists has grown to include several additional painters, photographers, sculptors, as well as a unique line of mirrors that are natural reflections for any décor of nature. Additionally, One Stop Concrete joins our family with a unique "concrete" form of craftsmanship for both interior and exterior design applications. We are also working with a full-service art studio and production facility specializing in site-specific fine art. As always, ArtXpectations is your reliable source for fine art, commissioned art & sculpture, frames, mirrors and more to meet the unique demands of your art-related projects regardless of size or location. ArtXpectations has an experienced, full-time staff devoted to customer service excellence. Our goal is to consistently deliver art works of superior craftsmanship for both interior and exterior hospitality, public, business and private environments.
ArtXpectations not only sources art from around the world, we also represent a select group of creative and prolific artists and sculptors experienced in meeting the artistic requirements of art buyers and art specifiers and successfully integrating art and sculpture into our client's projects. Among our artists represented are sculptor and artist Dave Chapple, muralist and photographer Lani Yamasaki, and artist and sculptor Noeau Penner to name a few (please scroll down to see Artist Highlights below). We also encourage new artists to contact us and all inquiries are welcome. While our primary focus is on art buyers and specifiers who seek or specify art for the hospitality industry (public area and room art for hotels, resorts, casinos, etc.), our artist's works may also be considered for private and corporate art collections, real estate development and private home projects, the public art sector and licensing (apparel, furnishings, gifts and collectibles, stationery & paper goods, publishing, etc.). Interests expressed also include art of all mediums that expresses spirituality, healing art, health-related, promotes cultural stewardship and native philanthropy, sacred sites, and art that builds bridges of respect and peace between communities.

Please contact me personally with your project needs, for artist or service information.

Artist Spotlight: Lani Yamasaki, Artist and Photographer
Lani Yamasaki is truly a unique artist. A Native Hawaiian of mixed ancestries, she is a renowned photographer, muralist, illustrator, painter, author, a Hawaiian Culture and Arts Consultant and a Community Based Social & Economic Development Consultant. Her artworks are prized in private and public collections, including the State of Hawaii, and by major international corporations worldwide. She is sought out by grassroots communities, foundations and corporations for her holistic vision and expertise in planning sustainable communities through incorporating culture, humanities and the arts. Miss Yamasaki is a graduate of Scripps College in Claremont, California.

Her love for Hawaii and its peoples runs deep. As an artist, Miss Yamasaki is well-known for her hand-tinted images of historical Hawaii, sacred sites, and her brilliant floral series which include images of Native Hawaiian plants. Artist Highlight:
Nan No'eau Penner, Sculptor and Artist
"My personal vision in sculpture is shaped through a continuous process called play, to amplify the connection of all life forms and the profound gift of life," says No'eau. No'eau's early childhood on California's Catalina Island and her exposure to Japanese life and culture at a small village on Terminal Island gave her impressions of a special color. Eighteen years of immersion in Hawaii, its people and its land, resulted in her being given the name, No'eau. The islands left their mark on her choices of medium, form and subject. Today, from the mountains of Northern California, on her forty acres of woods and meadow, using the water from the land and energy from the sun, surrounded by the profound silence and song of nature No'eau creates her sculptures. No'eau's most recent works include a sculpture series in two mediums: concrete and ceramic, titled "Robes of the Spirit."

No'eau has been creating her wondrous art in paper, tapestry, paint, fibers and stone for more than four decades. A student of Los Angeles' Chouinard Art Institute, No'eau also studied in Japan, Hawaii, and Washington, and later taught at the Smithsonian Institute, The Appalachian Craft Center, The University of Alaska in Juneau, The Seattle Weavers Guild, and the University of Southern California Idyllwild Campus where she also chaired the Fiber Department. No'eau's works can be found in collections throughout the United States, Canada, Japan and Europe.
